Anita's Recipe for Winter Blues
Anita Sacco* sent me the following tips for breaking up the mid-winter blues. Maybe it will also help stave off some of the angry energies bombarding the airwaves.... Anyway, I felt better.
Anita: Daily living can have its challenges,and if you find yourself at the end of a day feeling off balance, there is a good bet that you have picked up the energies of other people or the environment.
There are two practices that can help pull these energies out. One is to place you feet in a footbath of warm water with Epson salt. Soak for about 10 minutes. While sitting there visualize a beautiful sunset or sunrise, a beach, a forest, whatever scene makes your heart feel good. When finished, if possible, dump the water outside back into the earth.
The other practice is to run your hands under running water and with a strong intent say “ I release all the energies of others or the environment about me that I have pulled into myself. It is no longer of service to me”. Visualize a white light and take deep breaths.
And remember what Jesus said and stills says: “Peace be with You”.
