Ann: St. Raphael, Anita* says you are with me, healing me, and that you have something to say here on the blog. I am embarrassed to say I don’t know anything about you.
St. Raphael: Ann, knowledge is not required for healing, nor is awareness of my presence. All that is required is an earnest entreaty with an open heart.
Ann: What is an archangel?
St. R: (Smiles.) Now that is a very complicated question because we are many things to many different people. But, if you mean who am I and what am I about, I am a spirit being of ancient and varied lineage depending upon the culture in which I appear. I have been in existence since the creation of the planet and to some extent assisted in same.
My heart is the well of compassion that many of you feel in difficult times as you ask on your knees for help and succor. The warmth on your back, the hand on your shoulder, the smile pulling at your lips, that would be me.
You, Ann, have asked for help in a threefold ways:
First, to heal your body, make you strong with energy to carry you through your upcoming trip.
Second, you have asked for healing of the ongoing chronic illness that is finally winding its way through your body.
And third, you want healing for your spirit to allow you to face with courage and energy the challenges that confront you, both in the practical sense and in the spiritual realms where your body and mind have had some trouble grasping and accepting the role that Spirit has asked of you and the gifts that Spirit has given you.
You were always a healer in your many past lives, Ann, so it is natural that we should work together now. It is my pleasure and privilege to walk at your side.
Do be careful though, because I am a little like Santa Claus, as I am strengthened and energized by communication and conversation, but can begin to disappear if my reality is challenged in your mind.
So take my hand, and let me show you what we can do together.

St. R: Absolutely. I will walk alongside anyone who asks for my presence. Sometimes miracles will occur and sometimes not, but always I can bring healing to your spirit as it connects to your body if you will allow me in. I will welcome the opportunity if an invitation is provided.
