Ann: John? Are we going into WWIII?
John: No, Annie, we are not - or at least as long as we have a steady hand on the tiller, and that we do in Joe Biden. I don’t say it will be easy. There will be sacrifices, but with the grace of God and courage in times of trouble, we will come through and in better shape than before.
Lies will be revealed, plots uncovered, and allegiances exposed. Some of these will surprise the most ostensibly "patriotic" among us revealed, as they will be, as the self-seeking, morally bankrupt imposters that they are.
Cut back all unnecessary actions and expenses. Offer what you can to those in need, and support our troops for they will be involved in one way or another.
Did you think we would go charging into Afghanistan and leave Europe to fend for itself? Yes, there may be some racial ugliness in our priorities, but we know too well how close a war in Europe came to dragging us all down into the cesspool of authoritarianism.
We are not that far out from the holocaust where we watched the tanks roll into Poland and France. I don’t believe we will let that happen again, but unfortunately, the images of war will have to get worse to bring the ire of the country onto the same vibration.
When that happens, Putin and all his apologists, yes I’m talking about your Fat Ass, and, unfortunately, some of my erstwhile colleagues seen formerly as people of integrity. The spotlight will shine on every individual, every branch of government, business, and religious institutions. Nothing will escape its revealing glare.
Keep your heads down, my friends, and let the process play out. Put your energy behind the A Team of whatever political persuasion that still values freedom and truth. It will come out alright if we do not falter and prepare for a marathon, not a sprint, and our flag, our real flag, standing for liberty and justice for all will fly once again in all its intended glory.
