Your mission, as mine was, is to demonstrate the holy,
to cleave to your mission’s path, and to let no bright shiny object
or darkened core of eternal suffering deflect you from this course.
Ann: Hi Arthur, I’ve been procrastinating because I’m afraid I won’t be able to hear you.
King Arthur: Ann, I was one to make my voice heard over the din of battle. A couple of dimensions is not a challenge, particularly when I have a channel so graciously open to hear me.
Today we speak of the mission that each of you undertake in one form or another, the life of the hero’s journey. It sounds romantic, but really it just one difficult slog after another, interspersed with moments of breathless terror and transcendent joy. This is what I come to speak of today.
Many thought that I lived a life of bravery, venturing forth as I did on one battlefield after another in the cause of righteousness. And it was challenging, wreaking as it did of terror, suffering, and death, all supposedly in the cause of freedom from tyranny, the defense and liberation of our highlands from an unholy invader. It is curious, is it not, how every battle seems to have been fought for a holy cause no matter what side for which one fights?
What I understood was that I fought for the old way, the way of unified creation, heaven to earth and all its creations with none more highly prized than another against an hierarchical religious institution. For one bright shining moment I thought we might create the world that we all strive for, that we have been striving to create ever since.
Though it may not seem like it, each of you have the same mission and that is to demonstrate the holy, to cleave to your mission’s path, and to let no bright shiny object or darkened core of eternal suffering deflect you from this course.
If given my choice between my life in that time and what each of you contend with in the present time, I would take my chances on the battlefield any time, for there an outlet in physical violence is offered as one strives to defeat the encroachment of the dark. Most of you now have no physical release except in the discovery of and communion with your spiritual family and the healing of those who come into your lives. You can’t just go out and punch someone.
Although in my time, it might have appeared that we failed, what once seemingly went down to ignominious defeat is now again remembered for the ideals for which we fought, ideals which have continued to inspire throughout the ages.
Now you are asked to carry on that fight for the hearts and minds of your family and everyone who comes into your presence however tangentially. Whether you “win” or “lose” in this lifetime is of no import, for what will be remembered, as it was of my mission, will be the sacred values for which you so valiantly lay down your life. That holy energy will be left behind you when you return to your families on the other side.
It is the legacy we leave in the world that counts. Not the temporary success of one battle or another but the faithful devotion to the way of the Light and how that light touches all within your sphere.
Cleave to that and you will have nothing more to wish for, for you will have achieved your mission with honour and bravery and represented your Creator in form and substance.

I can truly feel Arthur's strong energy and his message is such a beacon of hope...it truly isn't about winning or losing, is it? Thank you to you, Arthur and to you, also, Ann for sharing this!
