Ann: Peter,* you rang?
Peter: (Smiling) Indeed I did, thank you for taking my call. I have come back because of the chaos and confusion that is assaulting your planet. You may recall that in my day we were under the yoke of the Roman Empire. Our lives – and to some extent our souls - were not ours to call our own.
Today you have a choice and you are making it. You are choosing kindness over cruelty and deception. Your souls will remain your own as long as you keep your vigilance steady and your boundaries intact.
The modus operandi of oppressive powers is the sowing of discord and distrust. It is easy to do, as you have noticed, if the perpetrators have no moral compass and an effective means of disseminations.
Those who wish to sow truth among the populace must employ the same tactics without the disregard for truth and compassion. I am heartened to see that significant headway has been made in this regard. But such dissemination cannot be left only to the authorities. As in my day each of us must take it upon ourselves to spread the Word.
Note I say the Word, not the hate and lies that so many have been prey to. Each of you are in a position to do your small part. Everyone out there has a role to play. As you move out into the world electronically or in person, particularly in your places of worship, ask the questions that reveal love as the answer, truth as the beacon, and compassion as the vehicle for healing your fragmented society. It will take every one of us to turn this ship around.
But take heart. The Roman Empire no longer reigns. Institutionalized religions are being cleansed, and cruelty no long carries the panache that it did when your current administration came to power. You have a different leader now. One who was called to serve in this moment as has each one of you living at this time in history.
Take your place as it has been foretold in creating the New Earth. Brick by brick, word by word, and hand to hand if necessary, the darkness will be vanquished.
