Richard On Bobby: Full Moon

I almost didn't put this message up as I wasn't sure it would be helpful to others - probably a good sign that it would and that it is cutting a little too close to the bone - my bone, that is. I received it prior to the previous post from Robert Kennedy.

Ann: Hi Richard, Anita* says you are here and want to talk. I kinda thought we’ve been travelling together today sort of under the radar.

Richard Burton: Yes, but a little too far under for my taste. I felt you drifting which is why I encouraged Anita to get your attention. Your emotional connection with Bobby leaves you feeling confused, not sure where to put it.

My dear, we can all be in love with a lot of people at the same time. I myself tried it out on the human plane with somewhat indifferent success, but on the spiritual there is no limit on how many people we can love, and by people I mean spirits, humans, dogs, horses, cats, trees, crystals etc. I do draw the line at corporations, your oddly composed Supreme Court Justice to the contrary.

Each relationship has a frequency. I imagine each of you have noticed that you are a somewhat different person with each of your friends and family. It may not be noticeably different all the time, but sometimes the contrast is stark.

One friend may need a steady rock, and so you call upon that part of yourself, the true part that can provide the assurance of our connectedness with Spirit, the confidence in your friend's own guides, their purpose and abilities in this life. Another my offer their wisdom to you and their rootedness may keep you steady. Another may bring out the clown in you or the efficient get-it-done part of your personality. Some may just come to you for fun and the connection that humor can bring when nothing else makes sense. And these roles change all the time.

It is as you once told your son who asked you which of your horses you loved the best, and you replied, correctly, “All of them,” because each is different and you love best the one that one is that no one else can provide in your world.

In the same way, as you contact guides and spirits, your relationships will be different, the connections resonating on different frequencies, even different planes. Some you may have encountered in different times or places or dimensions somewhere close to your heart. All of them are unique relationships.

With Bobby, as with myself, there is a long standing bond. You and I are equal partners. I just happen to have the broader perspective at the moment. Bobby is a guiding energy, a wisdom source, a star to which you can hitch your wagon and know that you are on the right track. And therefore, when you relive his loss, you are actually living it in the present moment, the “if only” longing for what could have been if that person, that energy had held sway.

And yet, love, you don’t know what would have happened if Bobby had lived. Grieve for him as we all did, yes, I among the many who felt a wound to my heart at his murder. But his energy is only one tiny piece of the miraculous and infinitely complex puzzle of the multiverse. You need not try to unravel it, for that is a thankless and ultimately fruitless task.

Ann: Yes, I do look to him as a wisdom figure and want him to tell me everything will be alright. Yet Jesus, Abraham Lincoln, Mother Mary, Mister Rogers, and Dr. King all have these same qualities, but he breaks my heart open.

Richard: Ask him, love. Ask him.**
