For the last several days I have been receiving communications relating to W. H. Auden. With the perspective of a time, I am seeing patterns I did not notice at the time these messages were received, and I am blown away.
I read and article from CNN on an encounter between a very elderly W. H. Auden and a student and his advice to that student to understand that there was no such thing as time and to rest in God.
I then heard from Auden which I transcribed and posted last Thursday, which, though I had not noticed it, was the evening before Good Friday.
I knew nothing about Auden other than he was a poet of some note so I looked him up on Wikipedia.
For some reason I went immediately to his poem, "Friday’s Child," which was centered on the day of the crucifixion, Good Friday. It affected me so powerfully that I put it on the blog even though I did and do not really understand it, still was not clued in to the Good Friday connection on our current calendar.
The poem was dedicated to Dietrich Bonhoeffer who was hanged in a Nazi concentration camp on April 9, 1945, seventy-five years to the day from April 9, 2020, the day I posted the poem.
The next day I felt John McCain hovering, and I thought that, if anyone would know what crucifixion was like and what it would mean, it would be he. It was Good Friday, and I am beginning to see some connections.
I asked Senator McCain about crucifixion and got the message posted on Good Friday in which he takes us to the choice we all have, the choice that Auden described in the poem: Do we accept the total love of Source or choose the total darkness of self-isolation?
At that point, I was shaking from the inside out. I knew Bonhoeffer wanted to talk, but I did not feel steady enough to engage that powerful energy.
Anita* then called “out of the blue” to tell me that I needed to be more careful about protection rituals. So I used her protection spray, saged the room, and started a rune meditation.
I pulled Algiz, the rune of protection, and received a message from Richard, who had “coincidentally" when incarnated done a poetry reading with Auden and had much to say about access to Spirit and the protection available to all of us.

The Algiz rune, the guardian figure of Michael, and the crucifixion image all have the same shape, the shape of the ancient symbol on the Algiz rune, the symbol of protection and the connection between “gods and humanity, the force that draws the consciousness of man toward the realm of the gods.”**
