Professor Einstein: Well, you know, when one of us speaks with and really listens to another, there is privilege on both sides, a kind of equilibrium that has a holiness all of its own.
True friendship, soul mates, or even an unanticipated encounter with a stranger can evolve in an instant or over lifetimes into a beautifully balanced sphere that is to be celebrated not only by the participants but every particle in the universe because all are affected by the energy emanating from such a lovely conjunction.
And here we are on the cusp of another such conjunction, the Winter Solstice. Always a time of celebration and magic, the Solstice is a beautiful blend of science and spirituality holding hands and sending uplifting reverberations out into the spheres. It is always thus when the lock clicks home, when the pieces fall into place, or any other such metaphor you might want to name, and always a reason to celebrate.
But this time we have another conjunction, that of the two planets most powerfully affecting our own, Jupiter and Saturn. They meet up – or as close to meeting up as you find in the galaxy - on the very day of the solstice evocations.
Science, astronomy, and the Great Spirit can show you these conjunctions, this remarkable meeting up of confluent forces, but only you, each one of you, can identify with the particular energy thrown off by these events that resonates with your own.
And if two souls communing can lift the universal frequencies, think what powerful resonances will be available to each of us on this magical day if we allow ourselves to take part in these galactic conjunctions.
So how do we receive this beautiful energy? How can we know what it says to us? How can we access it to heal the rifts in our lives?
Simply take the day to breathe in the air around you. I implore each of you to go outside at various points in the day. Try for the actual timing of the solstice if you can but anytime near that magical moment will do. Do the same to greet the gathering of our Father Saturn and our Mother Jupiter in the evening sky.
Stand upon the earth and absorb. You will be surprised at what great healing can occur in this magical time. You may be surprised to hear a scientist such as myself invoke magic, but what is not widely understood is that science is just a rudimentary and ultimately futile attempt to describe in concrete terms the component parts of the magical creation that is our multiverse.
And those reverberations are not outside your own experience. You have your own individual universe deep within you resonating and reaching out as far as the furthest flung star.
The day of solstice, the day of reunion of Mother and Father planets, is the day on which ancient crafts and current understandings hold hands and send their blessings out to all who would receive them.
