Ann: Hi Michael, Anita* says you have something important to put on the blog.
St. Michael: Yes, Ann. I can feel your skepticism from here. After all, no one appreciates one who cuts the line. Sorry about that but, you know it must be important or you would not have let me step in front of your regularly scheduled program.
All kidding aside, I come to you because you have been struggling lately with questions of light and dark. As you adjust to a year of monumental changes, you find yourself a bit annoyed with those of us demanding time when you are giving your all and are already exhausted.
Ann: Not annoyed, Michael, but I was expecting Fred. Never doubt that I am eternally grateful to those of you who are kind enough to share your wisdom on this site. Just a little overwhelmed. Please let me say that I am aware of your care for my family and am more grateful than I can say. So what is it that you want to say?
St. M: Have you ever noticed that sometimes the tritest sayings carry the truth we need to hear? In this case, the darkest hour is just before dawn. Now is the time for trust. Trust that each of you sending light, tending your own fires, focusing on letting spirit shine through the work of your hands, know these things have not been in vain.
The light is gathering. There will be difficulties, maybe even desperate times ahead, but your forces have gathered on the horizon, not just to combat evil but to shine such light that it disperses, it evaporates, and so that those who followed blindly can correct course of their own accord when vision is restored. Please do not give up hope or stop your efforts to redirect the earth’s energy. It is working as you will see. It won’t be long now.
Ann: Michael, stop. That’s what everyone says. If I hear one more time that justice will be served when the reverse is taking place, I will not be responsible for my actions.
St. M: Ah yes, the trustworthy navigator, saying what many think but don’t bother to raise because of the film of hopelessness has covered all that they see. Rather than address directly your complaint, let me ask you and your readers to assess more deeply how they are feeling.
Tired? Yes.
Worn down? Yes.
Inured to the falsehoods coming from the current government? Yes.
But apathetic? Absolutely not. Look into your hearts and see truthfully. At your core, you have not given up. You are biding your time. You are gathering forces in number and density. You know that the light is gathering.
So I come to you today to ask you to keep moving forward with grace and kindness and integrity, to remind you that these qualities are what will carry us into the new age. What we are seeing is the death throes of the old order where trickle down was the order of the day and the worth of those without wealth was denigrated if not denied. If you will forgive the colloquialism, their pants are on fire, and they will not be able to maintain the charade for much longer.
No, I cannot say how much longer, but this is not the time for retreat. Please stay side by side in your commitment to a kinder world. Call upon us to assist you when challenges confront you. I pledge myself to be there for each and every one of you who call for help in my name.
Please do not turn away, cast your gaze directly on that which you want to change and change it will, for falsehood cannot persist in the presence of light. I await your requests and am privileged to serve.
