Ann: John? Anita* says you are here. Help!

John: Annie, for God’s sake, calm down, panic never helped anyone - or at least not anyone you want to help.

First of all, Justice Ginsburg is fine, resting, and will not be available for some time because she is completely exhausted. Send her light and gratitude for all that she has done for this country and for humanity across the globe. No one could have used their energy and their time and talents more effectively than she did. I didn’t always agree with her, but I have come around to many of her conclusions given my present position and even to some extent before I passed.

You want me to tell you if He-Who-Shall-Not-Be Mentioned is going to get another court appointment. Yes, indeed he will. Whether that person will serve, however, is another matter is. When a justice is appointed his Congressional approval and swearing in depends on many background checks and determinations. I can’t recall the specifics, but criminal convictions or activity would of necessity derail the investiture. I believe that may happen.

Contrary to popular report, those of us on this side have no crystal balls, but what I see is a man or woman with hidden ties to outlawed organizations being appointed but either not confirmed or not sworn in due to past or even current associations with seditious or illegal organizations such as white supremacist groups or foreign powers.

Ann: John, this feels just like the wishful thinking that has brought us the predictions by many reputable psychics that she would make it into next year. Anita says, and I agree, that some of these intuitives are unconsciously giving us what we want because they want it too and are throwing their desires out into the ether to be picked up by everyone else. I also note that that’s how they keep people coming back to them because no one wants to hear bad news, not deliberately but still.

John: That may be Annie, that may be, but hang on and don’t’ give up, it’s gonna be a wild ride.

One way or the other, whether the Supreme Court is packed, whether Trump manages to steal the election, the truth will come out. It may take time, but it will upend our entire social system, and we will have to start again almost from scratch to rebuild.

What I want you to hear, my friends, is that we are up to the task. Whatever happens, we can handle it. There will be a cleansing because the stench will become too much for the country to bear, and the ship will be righted eventually. Each of us must put our fears aside, cry if we must, but do not give up, for that way is certain defeat. We have prevailed against great odds before, just ask Auntie, and as a graduate of the Hanoi Hilton, I can also attest to that phenomenon.

We must find faith, and if we do, faith will find us no matter how the events of the world unfold. Buck up, children, we live in interesting times.
