John McCain: Keeping the Faith

There is joy in the battle.

Ann: John, is that you?

John McCain: As ever was – well, not quite, actually better than ever. Annie, you and your friends down there need a little boost, and I am just the man to provide it.

We are headed into a long haul, an extended fight leading to a gradually unfolding transformation. For this we need stamina and vision and must leave any hope for immediate gratification behind us in the dust.

And there is joy in the battle as Auntie has told you, joy in the comraderies of like-minded soldiers who march side by side to an ever expanding call inspired by what will be achieved when the worm finally turns. We may have to dig deep and witness the unredacted darkness to which the human animal can sink, but that will pale in comparison to the light that is being released by each and every one of you who commit yourselves to this fight.

Old Joe is the right man for the job. It may not seem like it now, but he has a true and solid belief that, if you treat people right, they will learn to do the same. It is not a quick lesson, but he is steady enough to carry it out and that is what he is doing. And he is willing to fight for what he believes. He and I did not always agree on policies, but we both treasured the light of the human spirit when it comes to the fore on its best day.

So my friends, make every day your best day. Refuse to sink into despair. Take every insult and turn it into a kindness. Make a point of it. Then the lower they go, the higher we rise, one kindness at a time.

I want you to hold on, to have faith that there will be brighter days ahead no matter how far we sink in this current maelstrom, no matter how long it takes. We are part of a process and its outcome is assured if we simply keep the faith.

Work on it, my friends, work on it, and come back and tell me all about it.

Thank you John McCain! Boy did I need this. I felt like things would improve more by this point, but it feels the same - like we are still in the thick of it. FAITH. Knowing you and others from the other side are helping (I hope!) gives me comfort. Love to you.

Thank you John McCain for an encouraging message, and thank you Anne for making sure we received his message. Yes folks, keep the faith. This mess will take time, but we will come out of it stronger and a better country. Please love EVERYONE, all folks of different ethnicities, religions, life choices. It is up to us to love, not judge. Love & Light. 😘😘🙏🙏
