There is something more going on here.

John McCain: Yes, ma’am, that would be me. I just want to take another whack at my peers, the ones who are still walking around on the planet, that is. The other ones have already gone to glory - or not.
Good, God, Annie, can you believe the idiocy that is coming to the fore here? You’d think that these folks thought they had the secret to eternal life in their press releases the way they are perjuring their souls in the service of that con man and his flunkies.
We used to be the party of small government, but now it seems that we are the party of the Big Lies, and that’s the sum total of our platform.
Now I don’t believe in big government, never did, because I believe that people can do better for themselves than any big government telling them what to do, but I do believe in truth, democracy, and free education. That’s the only way to have this leaky ole ship we call a representative government be able to roll along from season to season and election to election
And I’m no choirboy, I know there’s shenanigans goin’ on, always was, but never did I think to see the bulk of my party being willing to sell the country down the river for personal power.
And that’s why I’m asking you to think about this. There’s something more going on. It’s not just money and power. Its lies, fear, extortion, and blackmail. I can smell it, can’t you?
What would you do – or what wouldn’t you do – if you or your loved ones were being threatened, your life, their lives, their future and your grandchildren’s hold on life on this planet? What would you do?
I want you to keep your eye on that ball. The tentacles of the last administration go way down into the criminal classes, and they are using those contacts and tactics in classic form. Go after the family, not just its money but its children, its reputation, its way of life. Sooner or later, I hope to God its sooner, it will come out and not from me because if any reporter type read what I’m saying here, they would cast it on the heap with all the other discredited conspiracy theories.
Annie here is going to sleep rather than think about joining that crowd but, mark my words, we will see these treacheries outing in the end. We will see those who willingly joined the enemy, and those who succumbed to fear and did the same thing.
My friends, cowardice is never the way, never. I know what it is to have to choose between my God and a corrupt bargain with the devil, so I know a little bit about that. Some of the folks today have taken the coward’s way - and then some of them have called it holy.
I won’t give you their names, but just think about those who have started to speak out but then clammed up and started spouting that “Hail to the Humper” crap.
Just look at it. That guy's got Connections in spades. Michael Cohen knows it because he has them himself. He might be trying to go straight, and I believe he is, but he’s not singing on the Family, he has too much respect for their many layered networks than to do that.
It’s gonna be damn near impossible to get this corruption out of the Congress, out of some of our institutions and civic and national leaders, but we can vote with our feet when they won’t let us cast our ballots, and then, when it transpires that they are losing their grip on the propaganda machines, they won’t be able to deliver to their masters or to their districts. Then, then we can start slowly to reclaim this country back from its abduction by dark forces.
This is just one of the many threads that we will see unwound as we begin to get to the diverse roots of the corruption that have led us to this point in our history. It’s gonna take time, but, watch for it, it will happen, thread by thread by thread.
Just keep your feet nimble and your eyes open.
