Mary Magdalene: The Body Knows
"Our most reliable guide is our body."
Ann: Miriam, Anita said you wanted to talk, and I have felt you around also. How can I be of help?
Mary Magdalene: Ah, Ann, that is always your standard question, is it not? To be of help, that is the most sacred offer that can be made. And, yes, you can be – and have been - of help to me and others on this blog and, I daresay, have also received proportionately, for it is indeed more blessed to give than to receive.
I wanted to speak to you about what you see as the uneven nature of your work, your unease with your tendency to burrow into your room for what may seem like an extended period of time. I know this concerns you.
I too found that the steady availability of one soul to another was not for me. Not only could I not continually put myself on “giver” without also being “receiver,“ and, when I tried to do so, I found that the well would run dry in very short order. What you are doing when you retreat may seem like laziness or self-indulgence - I liked sweets also and was very fond of dates and honey – but is in fact a regrouping and re-energizing of a system whose outflow hose had been left on a bit too long.
What I ask of you to bring to those who read this blog is what I ask you to receive for yourself, that is, the knowledge that our most reliable guide is our body. Your body craved a shut down. Your training and upbringing said you must always be available to whomever might want or need your attention, so that, while you did retreat, you did so with a sense of inferiority and guilt.
This I want you to strive to discontinue as one of your default fallbacks, for, in order to meet others with compassion, we must first offer it to ourselves. Your body said stop. You did. Next time say, “Thank you for the heads-up.” Then wait for energy to return, for the well to refill, and then off you may go again with a light heart.
Take this conversation as a case in point: Anita* says correctly that I have been wanting (and waiting) to talk to you. Yes, very true, and I believe I was also able to get that request to you directly. You have waited to respond because your internal compass knew that you did not have the energy for the communication until now. Now with your mind clear, your body rested, and light above your head and shining through your aura, you can hear me with no difficulty. Note to self for future channelings: if it feels forced, it is. So stop. wait until the flow returns, and then you can reliably serve this mission.
Having said that, I would like to say that I would be gratified to be in touch more regularly if you would be so kind as to allow the access. I have much to say which has been hidden over the years and which is perfectly suited to our times now.
For example, the balance of the natural world is reasserting itself. This virus that has everyone up in arms is bringing us back to our homes and our loved ones. Going out is not the order of the day. Looking into our hearts and out into the natural world for our “entertainment” is a blessed default as other entertainments become less and less available. Much like what seems to be the travesty of the Trump era, this “plague” of the coronavirus is in fact a gentle way of saying stop, slow down, notice what and who surrounds you. Take a breather. Look up. Feel the holy atmosphere at your back, under your feet, and around your head. Reach out. We are here.
This is a time when breathing is the recommended course of action. The virus coincidentally, while impeding that activity in the physical sense, may at the same time foster a spiritual autonomic inhale and exhale that is of the creative force and, despite physical and emotional resistance, can be a harbinger of the peaceful river at which all may gather. This is a holy time. Do not let it pass by unnoticed.
