Time to Reflect
Ann: Hi Richard, I feel you are here, and I am most appreciative. Anita* says Miriam would like to speak, I just put up Anita’s piece on Merlin, and went through the soul-expanding W H. Auden series. I am a little out of balance and need some recap, reflection, and wisdom from you.
Richard: Ah love, I am, as you know ever ready to offer my opinion to all and sundry, but particularly today when I feel the magnitude of what you are doing sinking in upon you.
It was all very well and good when you were blithely writing down what spiritual messages were offered and then going about your day as if nothing out of the ordinary had occurred. And indeed, my dear, it had not, for spirit's truth is not out of the ordinary and is not bound by time or space. This, the falling in of time upon itself, the communication across boundaries that never actually existed, is in fact the reality of creation.
Yet the artificial boundaries that humans need to organize life on the planet are just as necessary as the perception of reality beyond those boundaries. And sometimes when you hold the two side by side in the palm of your hand, the world may seem to be spinning, and confusion and disorientation can result.
You are asked to keep your balance as you shift your consciousness between worlds, between dimensions, and into planes where time itself is an illusion. Not to worry my dear, you have pretty good balance - mostly because you refuse to let yourself get lost among the dimensions and relentlessly return to home port. Your technique to date has been to operate in observation mode, not really experiencing the effect on your body and spirit except as an interesting phenomenon.
Surely, love, you did not expect this kind of pattern to last indefinitely. You are talking to deceased people, to spirits who have walked in other dimensions, to angels, archangels, and entities from other dimensions. This experience defies any description available to human language - though poetry comes closest. It is not surprising that your balance can become a bit skewed, but it is wonderful that you are now allowing yourself the experience.
For what you are beginning to learn, love, and to experience in your body, is the feeling of that remembered experience of life without the human construct. Let yourself go there, love, always accompanied by your protectors, your guides, your angels and archangels. For you have been right to be cautious. It is easy to become disoriented and not be able to navigate back on your own.
Yet it is critical that you have these experiences, for still do you doubt in some cloudy corner of your being the reality of these messages, these interactions, and the resulting expansion of your consciousness. Your disorientation is the dawning realization of your soul’s purpose.
I have to say, love that you are a bit like Peter. He denied the Christ three and, if truth be told, many more times, partly out of fear of persecution - which fear you relate to from dimly perceived experiences in lives in other times. But his deepest fear - and yours - was the very real prospect of disappearing into the reality of Christ’s existence. You still have that fear keeping you tethered. Not to worry, it will dissipate in its own time, and, as it does so, the comfort and joy that it allows you will wipe away any lingering reservations. In the meantime, simply notice, welcome, and experience these messages that start to change your internal configurations.
This is the beginning. This is the movement from human to divine that each of us carries within, that is our ultimate journey and profound purpose. The turmoil in the world now will, in spite or perhaps because of its many tragedies, provide a link to this widening experience of who we are and why we are here.
Accept it, love, then pull back when you must. This is the yin and yang of spiritual development, the trick is to keep one foot in each world until our balance allows us free access between the two. Practice, love, practice. Allow us to help. That is what we offer each one of you, and we delight in accompanying you on your journeys.
Just don’t look down, love, for that is not where salvation lies. Lift your gaze heavenward, plant your feet firmly on the ground and open to the amazing journey between the two that awaits each and every one of you who have chosen to experience the push/pull of incarnation. Your vision will expand, your guides will become visible, and you will not fall.
Ann: Richard, I was moved to pull a rune regarding what you are saying. I drew Perth or Pertho. According to Thorsson,** this is the rune of time, evolution, and karma, the representative of "that which has become...that which is becoming, ...that which should become..., the great pattern of cosmic becoming" of which we are all a part.
