Spiritual Traps For The Unwary: Archangel Michael To The Rescue!

Ann: Hello Michael, I have been wanting to thank you for your continued presence and protection. Anita* says you have something for the blog.

Archangel Michael: Yes, I do. But first I want to speak with you about the increasingly intense nature of the work that you and Anita are doing.

By intense I mean, pure, direct, with minimal interference from egocentric forces. You will, of course, never have completely unfettered conversations with Spirit because, while you exist in human form, your ego is essential to your formation in providing a centralized energy column. But you are both opening, almost without boundaries, your crown and third eye chakras which allow you to receive, to “see,” and to communicate what you have heard and experienced. Such endeavours can be disruptive on several levels.

First, such is the intensity and delight of spiritual connection that you may begin to think that you are something special. Some misguided souls have fallen into the illusion that they are direct messengers from God and that, therefore, their words are beyond question or reproach. I would just say, apropos of this, that when this type of unholy delight takes hold, it is time for you and your ego to have a come-to-Jesus talk.

Second, you need to have your filters on for external or internal disruptions. These can occur because of your own biases and attachments or, as you open more fully, by the inadvertent attraction of negative forces. It is much like a melting ice-cream cone dripping down and attracting ants. The ants have nothing to do with the very enjoyable project at hand, but they can seriously derail the consequences hoped for at the outset of the endeavour.

The third level of disruption is almost a photo negative of the first, that is, you can become untethered to your ego-centered existence and unable to calibrate your responses in this world appropriately. When this happens, people around you may think that you are nuts which, in fact, you are. More than one person has succumbed to this temptation by wanting to prolong spiritual experiences beyond useful boundaries and has ended up in most unfortunate circumstances.

I and other guides offer our services to each of you to help you keep it in the road as it were. You are of no use here to yourself or others if you fall victim to any of these unbalanced states, i.e.

1) You become enamored of your little self as the next coming of Christ or some such entity,

2) You relax your vigilance and discernment and become an inadvertent carrier of darker entities, or

3) You forsake your mission here and allow yourself to drift so far off into visionary experiences such that you are no longer functional on this planet.

4) Which is all by way of saying that the spiritual path is glorious but tricky.

Fortunately, I and my compatriots are just as tricky, and we are completely devoted to your well-being. Turn to us regularly, not just when you think there might be a problem, but as a regular practice so that you are constantly aware that help is at your fingertips.
