Ann: Richard.
Richard: Yes, love, a real heartbreak. But out of loss comes opportunity. Out of pain comes knowledge. The loss of a leader can leave us rudderless or it can clarify our resolve. It is my prayer that the latter is our present reality.
Ann: This death throws my faith in our channeled knowledge into question. Everyone said she would make the inauguration.
Richard: Love, you don’t know who will win the presidency, let alone who will be on the Supreme Court. You don’t know how the world will turn out. You do know that you have a role to play in your life.
Ann: Yes, but Richard, if they are wrong, I might be too.
Richard: True, and you must live with that. In fact, you will almost certainly be wrong on a number of occasions. That does not invalidate the message just the interpretation, and I am here to assure you that the good will outweigh the bad.
You offer what you receive, accept that there will be errors but human misunderstanding is not enough to derail the words of support and wisdom from the great spirits who have gone before us. You job is to get their words, as best you can hear them, out into the world.
The perfect is the enemy of the good. There are no assurances of victory just continued struggle. Surely you do not want to go down without a fight?
Ann: Guess not. Guess you told me.
Richard: And so did Ruth. Hers is the inspiration. Ours is the execution to the best of our ability. Angels can do no more.
