Jesus: When Someone Walks Away

It is not about who is right and who is wrong;

it is about the enduring power of love.

Jesus: It is always sad to see a turning away from love. Many have experienced what it is to be loving and to have your every gesture thrown back in your face. Think how it is for our heavenly Father/Mother, our Creator, who desires nothing more than that her love be returned and that we find our settled happiness in our spiritual families and yet day after day sees her outstretched hand ignored, knocked aside in the name of some faceless droid who has nothing to offer but self-flagellation.

Ah, (smiling) I see the smirk. You think I smile to see you get some of your own, and the irony is not lost on either of us. But fundamentally it is sorrow that we share, each in our respective spheres, each having been on both sides of the table.

Yes, I too tried to turn away from my Father’s love, from my Mother Creator’s outreached hand because in it was a fiery thorn that was to encircle my head as I hung on the cross. It takes much to cross that barrier, the barrier that allows us to set down our fears and grievances and to accept our imperfect selves as loved unconditionally just as we are.

This we ask of each of you, to move as your Creator has shown you, to suffer as she does, and to hope that sometime, somehow, the beloved will find a way to accept that love.

Some of you have found it difficult to accept the concept of a well loved being at your core. Others have found it hard to accept that they are one among equal souls and loved as such. Yet I see many of you letting yourselves answer God's call, no longer giving fodder to the doubts and fears that for so long kept you bound.

You see the path now however faintly it may appear then fade. You make mistakes. You suffer consequences, you hurt for those that refuse not only your love but the love of your Creator, but for your own part, now that you have really seen Divine Love, it will cannot be unseen.

Take that with you, it is all you need. And if you falter, cry out, and we will be at your side, for we too have seen and partaken from both sides of the Table Divine. It is not about who is right and who is wrong; it is about the enduring power of love.
