John F. Kennedy

Updated: Nov 11, 2019

Pursuant to instructions from Richard (see below post) and Anita (anita4angels@gmail.com) , I transcribed the following from President Kennedy.

"Move resolutely forward with the sure and strong conviction that might is not right, that love will indeed conquer hatred, and that people can come together because of their common humanity

in spite of their superficial differences."

Ann: Mr. President, Anita says you want to talk to me?

President Kennedy: Yes, Ann, I do, and you needn’t approach it as if you were going to a hanging. I am here with my blessed friend and colleague Elijah Cummings, and we are in good spirits and excellent health. Your skepticism is based on your feelings of unworthiness but did you but know it, none of us is unworthy - particularly as we allow life to turn us in our intended direction. I was always meant to die an early death, a martyr to a cause that I barely understood but which was fulfilled in the civil right reforms that were enacted thereafter with the sacrifices of the many like Elijah who gave life and treasure to advance the cause of future generations.

Now we see that cause being trampled in the dust by those who would deign to recognized the humanity of those upon whose backs their wealth and success has been built. I am asking you and those like you to bring our words to the attention of those who may think that the world is once again sinking into darkness. It may seem so, but it is not so. Look at the smiling face of Elijah standing next to me, laughing in joy to be released to inspire those of you who still struggle but who move nevertheless resolutely forward with the sure and strong conviction that might is not right, that love will indeed conquer hatred, and the people can come together because of their common humanity in spite of their superficial differences.

What must be continued by those of you remaining is the raised energy around these efforts. Now is not the time to be discouraged when, did you but know it, victory is so close at hand. What seems like drudgery, like trudging through an endless swamp of corruption is really the tunneling through and under a raging river to reach the other side. The river is necessary to wash the hate away. The trauma will serve to correct the course of those who simply went along in the name of safety, security, and blind obedience. It will not be easy. but it has been done before.

A: Yeah, but it didn’t last. Will the cycle never end except with our destruction?

JFK: It will end. There may be destruction, but there will be a changing of the guard such that rewards are given not for acquisition but for generosity and kindness, not for mindless strength and blind dominance but for love and loyalty to the light and only to the light. It will come, and we will do what we can from here to ease the way. Your part is to get the word out..
