John McCain: Call Out The Truth

John McCain really knows how to make his presence felt. But I am an old hand at tuning out what I am afraid to hear which is what I was doing quite successfully until he put Anita* on the case. I defy anyone to hold out on those two.

"Have you any idea, my friends, what peace of mind

steady fidelity to the truth will bring you?"

Senator McCain: OK, Annie, I get that you are terrified of what I’m gonna do to you and have been putting this off.

Ann: Well, John, you are beginning to know me very well. I am terrified of everything.

JMcC: That may be, but, like I told you before, you get back on, not just with horses, but when you fall or crash and burn, here you come again, terrified or not. I know going public with me may not be the most appetizing thing in the world, but we’ve got to do it. The time is critical, and, though we may lose, we need to be recruiting an army of believers to hold as many lines as possible.

A: And what lines are those?

JMcC: The lines between good and evil. Don’t put your head in the sand, people. We have talked about this before, but I want all of you to understand how critical it is to recognize dark forces when you see them. It might seem insignificant to look past a wrong, to allow a newspaper to slander your neighbor since, after all, it’s none of your affair. When a child in school is bullied or wrongly accused, if it’s not your child, is it really your concern?

Yes, it is. Say no and say it loud. Say it stops here. All of us must stand up, as Auntie** is constantly telling us. We may not win. We may even lose for a long time. That’s not the point. The point is to hold the line because, when you hold it, no matter how far the pendulum swings in the opposite direction, that line will be there when those swinging with that evil wind wake up and realize that they have been duped, that they have been made into co-conspirators, to use the phrase in vogue today. In my day we call it fraternizing with the enemy or just good old-fashioned sin. And then that pendulum will swing back, and we will be ready to catch it.

I am not suggesting that you go attacking those who have been seduced by lies, betrayal, and power, but I am suggesting that you shine the light on what they are doing. Have you any idea, my friends, what peace of mind steady fidelity to the truth will bring you? And if you find that you have been one of those who followed evil, either out of expedience, avarice, or misunderstanding, it is never too late to reverse course, call out your own misdeeds, and make restitution.

We can say we are sorry for what we did, what we said, and who we followed, but it is not until we take action to rectify our own complicity that peace of mind will be ours. You don’t have to be a

Screaming Mimi to advance the truth. A still, quiet, unrelenting voice is far more lethal than a sword in the long run – though, in my opinion, the latter is necessary at times. In combination, quiet truth and the willingness to go to war as a last resort will carry the day though it may not be a day we will see in one particular lifetime.

We live the life we are given to the best of our abilities in the circumstances that we encounter. We speak the truth when we can see it, and we call out our own lies when they slip under our guard. This is the peace that passeth all understanding, and there are angels in heaven standing ready to light your way and guard your back. Step up, my friends, in whatever manner your life has given you, and let heaven do the rest.

Thank you, John and Ann for pushing us to stand up for right. Calling my Republican senators now to remind them they swore to uphold the Constitution.

Powerful words spoken by a man who “walked the talk.” Honor and courage have been usurped by lies and fear. This is not who we are. We are divine beings sharing a collective experience of a reality that is false. Do we hide from our divinity and cower to fear, or do we stand in the light and proclaim our truth.
