John McCain:* You ready ole girl? Need to brush your teeth, clean the lint out of your vents, rearrange your record collection, or some such critical activity?
Ann: Yeah, sorry about that, having trouble focusing these days.
John: Not too surprising which is why your ole buddy John is here to give you a kick in the pants. We have work to do.
Ann: Ok, got it, go for it.
John Righteo. I am here to suggest to my friends out there that this is no time to rest on our laurels. Just because things went better than expected in the last election does not mean that we are not still suffering from a deadly virus of hate and lies. These people aren’t done yet, my friends. We got ‘em on the ropes, but that's when they become most dangerous, so don’t expect sweetness and light from those who have already proven their true colors.
Let us take the bright energy that we have generated now and focus even more closely on the truth of our existence on this planet. We came to demonstrate our Creator’s love, and, though we have done so many times, we must keep those shining examples at the forefront of our minds because we are still being stalked by the shadow.
And that shadow is the thirst for power and control that dogs every human being. It is fueled by fear, fear of the hardship, illness, and destruction that is inevitably the lot of every mortal human being and which, truth be told, is not going away. It is also not the reality that drives our will to consciousness.
Rather than trying to build our egoic systems up to breach this paper tiger, we need to focus on building up the truth of our created natures which is that, when we are aligned with our Creator, we are fueled by love, and that is all we need.
That is what will defeat our shadow. Not that I am advocating that we lie down and let the bastards walk over us, far from it. Now is the time to stand in our truth and refuse to give quarter.
We are in a war, my friends, make no mistake about it. Keep your wits about you, and let the actions of those who would take us back into darkness reveal their own poverty. You can see it happening, can’t you? The longer they persist, the more obvious it is that they have nothing to offer.
We are winning this war, my friends, don’t step back now.
