Merlin: Yes, I have been at your side recently because I believe I can be of help to people suffering from the confinement of the pandemic. Now, when the prospect of freedom is in sight, it becomes doubly hard to tolerate restriction and regulate expansion.
I ask that you release into the ether your expectations. The path of magic is the path of letting go. Hard as it may be to do or even contemplate, this is the time when allowing your life course to be guided is in your best interests and that of all who surround you.
Ambition, though attractive and empowering, is not your friend, and, by ambition, I mean that which is undertaken to create a shrine to ego function. On the other hand, realization of your life purpose will serve much the same function and comes with cleaner and more durable energy.
In my day the magical arts came to hand as a matter of course. In that long ago time, everyone recognized the reality of the energy spectrum. Today we have forgotten that everyone vibrates at their own frequency and that, with effort and intention, such frequency can be altered and elevated.
We are coming closer to the remembrance of this now. Many of us, particularly as we age, may notice a quickening of intuition, a heightened perception of the sparkle in the air, and an increasing inclination to turn to or learn some of these magical arts. This is particularly true in this season, the advent of the Vernal Equinox. We are coming back full circle to the knowledge that each of us carry within.
So go ahead and dabble a bit. Plan a ceremony for the coming of spring and rebirth. It can be something as simple as standing on the earth at the appointed hour or, if that is not feasible, at any time on the day in question.
Stand, arms outstretched, mind and body cleared to receive. Chant, sway, or move as energy suggests. Inhale the newly charged ions in the air, ions that feed the rejuvenation, not just of this season but the new seasons beginning their course on this planet, seasons of correction and cleansing. Commune with those who come to honor your presence with them on this holy day presence.
We are all seers and magicians if we want to be.
