I felt Richard around me and wanted to talk to him but wasn't sure why. He, however, had no such doubts.
Ann: Richard, not sure what I am wanting to talk to you about, perhaps you can fill in the blanks?
Richard Burton: Well, of course, love, never let it be said that I allowed a pall to fall over any conversation. If you want to know what you are concerned about, it is the same thing that you are thrilled about, that is the prospect of devoting ever increasing time to your role as channel, and interpreter, as teacher and as counselor, in short, to the essence of your created being.
Oh, I know you have qualms about this or that, niggling doubts that are of no consequence as you, as each of us, take up the mantel we have been given, that we have been born for, and move forward into this time of transition. We must not let these illusory fears deter us.
It is true, of course, that transitions are historically both terrifying and exhilarating, gruesomely ugly and awesomely splendid, and this transition is no different. However, did you notice the illumination that Anita* brought with her into the meditation she led on David’s** YouTube channel? This is what is meant by stepping into what could, God knows, be some type of void, and then discovering that you have actually arrived home with all the joys that a homecoming would suggest and provide to its ill-advised and wayward offspring.
Love, we are all prodigal children, for we have all strayed from our home, from our inherited birthright, and tried to create out of thin air that which we were granted as of right with our first breath. Look for the joy, love, and there you will find gold - and the God - also.
I see the smile coming over your face and the light entering your body. This is what we receive when we take that step into what we mistakenly take for the unknown. This time of trial will allow us to recognize our heritage and forge new beginnings in our society, new hierarchies where the ruling class has no minions, where we all help each other.
And yes, that seems like pie in the sky, but watch as we are brought together in our hearts even as we are separated as physical beings. Allow that joy to gather in those empty spaces that at first look like barren territory between us, but which, when seen with the eyes of the heart, are in fact soft and gentle waves that connect us all.
Admit it, love, you’re happy. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. And it’s as contagious as the coronavirus. More so, in fact, because joy has no shelf life, no beginning and no end. And the beauty of it is that it does not depend upon external circumstances.
I do not mean that the human animal will cease suffering in the physical world because that is the nature of the beast we have called down upon ourselves, but that when we recognize the over-laying atmosphere of light and joy around us, our choices in how we greet our human destinies become clear.
We will then join with Richard II in seeing, perhaps for the first time, that we all "live with bread..., feel want, taste grief, need friends", and thus informed, can then join with our brothers and sisters in joyful recognition that in the human bond is our deliverance to the gates of heaven.
Upon finishing this writing, I was guided to pull a rune to further explain what Richard was saying.
