Our bodies take on a different essence in spirit

Apostle Peter: Yes, Ann, thanks for taking my call when life events consume your attention. Well do I remember when the exigencies of life pushed spiritual perceptions aside until sometimes we would almost drown in the just plain busyness of it all.
I was in charge of the tactical aspects of spreading the Word. I never really thought of myself as Jesus’s rock but rather his quarter master. Mine was the strategic planning role, where to go, how to travel, whom to see, where and to whom to offer the Good News of Jesus’s coming, his departing, and his return - and ours.
Just the ins and outs of planning could sometimes consume me until I recalled myself to the purpose of the life that I had chosen. Our mission was the spreading of the knowledge of eternal life. Not so much physical life, but spiritual, though that has been misconstrued. Our bodies take on a different essence in spirit though - their image takes on an important function as you may have noticed. We still use them for reference to speak with those of you still incarnated. Even for those of us now in spirit, they are a convenient frame of reference to communicate with and relate to each other. And they bring us joy!
My mission now is the same as it was then, the spreading of the word and work of our Creator so that somehow through the flotsam and jetsam of human existence the one true reality of the light of the Creative Force shines through.
And, yes, I see and speak to Jesus and many others from that life and others. You have no idea how many of us have gathered to lighten the atmosphere around each one of you so that you can see, rejoice, and bathe in Spirit’s light.
Look for it today, try it on for size. When you do, you will come out feeling light and clean. The tasks that confront you will seem easier, the joy that you encounter more radiant, and the burdens that you carry lighter.
This is what happens when your heart is lifted up to another dimension where the true essence of your soul has been recognized, accepted, and claimed. We send you blessings this day and pray that you can see your way clear to receiving them.

Thank you Peter for the clarity in the flotsam and jetsam of life! This caught my eye as I noticed that several of you, Richard, even Robin, and many others have used this term in the blog, and I have to admit I had to look it up as I was not used to hearing it, I supposed it was a term that was very familiar in someone's lifetime, and being a colorful and fun way to describe the chaos and garbage we have to sift through to find the gold and see the light, that others also liked it to serve that purpose.
