Whether we are aware of it or not,
each of us is a part of an ancestral clan -
and by this I mean "ancestral" in the largest sense..

Whether we are aware of it or not, each of us is a part of an ancestral clan, and by this I mean "ancestral" in the largest sense.
Perhaps you can identify some of the members of your clan in the current life you are leading, but often your clan is a mixture of these with others whom you have met in previous lifetimes, even perhaps, other galaxies or dimensions.
What you look for to identify a clan member is the ease with which that person’s energy mixes with your own. I am not speaking solely of “chemistry,” sexual or otherwise, though that can be part of the mix. More than that, it is the sense of a shared mission, that what is seen by one is also visible to the other.
The bond does not have to be around spiritual matters. Your clansmen and women can be found in a variety of situations. The only thing in common is the feeling of a place where all are striving together, where the whole, its mission and its essence, are more important than any one of its members, that together they are more than the sum of their parts.
Some of you have longed for such a clan, but are disappointed not to have found such in this lifetime. I urge you to go further afield, broaden your horizons so that you begin to become cognizant of the more subtle energies that gather round you.
These may be your guides, they may be one or more of your ancestors or family members, angels or those from other dimensions, perhaps a teacher or mentor, one who saw you, knew you, and encouraged you to be who you are. Notice that, whether the contact is fleeting or of longer duration, the energy connection is in fact stable, supporting you, reminding you of the profound connection long after the point of contact.
Take some time out of your day to keep a list of these “bon amis,” the good friends with whom you need not hide or posture. Gather them round you and continue to add to the list as you go along.
Do not be surprised if I or other historical or mythical figures make your list. Perhaps they have been your guides, perhaps you have been theirs, sometimes a child will lead the way, sometimes an angel or an elder.
Once you find them, if you nurture the connection, they will never leave you. Even though your life enters dark stretches, your clan provides sustenance and support so make time to spend with them, always keeping an eye and ear out for new or returning members.
These are the ones that can light your way in this incarnation and then ease your transition into the next life.
And who knows, perhaps you have done the same for them, for it is indeed wonderful to find a well-loved greeting committee waiting for you when you reach the other side.
