It is being borne in upon me that this is not a game, that I cannot do this work, walk away unchanged, and downplay my gifts so that my friends and family will feel comfortable. It is time to own up. I am a clairaudient channel.
Ann: Peter, you understand denial.*
Peter: Yes. Your rune throw Uruz, Reversed, is the wild beast, the beast that you must confront, that you must slay, not with swords or harsh words, but with understanding and pity. The beast is your ambivalence of your gift, your purpose, your meaning in this life. This beast must be fought to a draw leaving you to the wisdom represented by the Crystal Card, Aquamarine, the stone of enhanced clarity leading to the acceptance of one's truth.
Richard: It is time to let this go, love. You and Peter understand at a soul deep level the ambivalence of stepping up to take on the role that ‘spirit has called upon you to play. It is no longer to be questioned, you have passed that point.
Peter: Yes, as he says. The grace of spirit, the light descending down in a golden stream that encompasses your being and illuminates your soul is a fearsome thing. Life is never the same thereafter. You cannot simply compartmentalize Divine work from the rest of your daily life, for the two are seamless.
While you do not need to proselytize as I did when I finally claimed my life’s purpose, you do need to speak, to affirm the work you do, the connection you feel, and the words you offer to others should they choose to partake. You do not need to belabor the point. Simply state when the occasion arises. Let your fellows know of your work, its reality, and your commitment to its vitality. Not with a shamefaced, head-bowed countenance, but with your head held high, your eyes calm, and your comfort in your connection with Spirit shining out of your eyes. It must be in every action, every movement, every conversation even if only in the warming light of the aura that surrounds you.
You say you write what you hear, make no claim otherwise. And to a certain extent this is true, for if it not for you to claim the truth of another, to demand that their perception match your own. Yours is simply to offer the gift and stand quietly by the altar upon which your soul was consecrated. There is to be no more denial. That is done. Now is the commitment to your Creator, your work, and the peaceful resting place that belongs to each of us.
No longer shall you “affirm before the world and deny between the rocks.”** You are unified in the love of Christ, in the God Force and Great Spirit. You have nothing more to ask for.

*"And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” Luke 22:60, KJV.

The pleasure is ours, Ann.
Heartfelt gratitude to all for the very supportive comments, you keep me going!
Laurie, you are the best, great advice. Peter will be "Pete" to me from now on. He really is a Pete kind of guy but I guess you know that.
Kae, your kind words touch my heart.
Monique, thanks for letting me know that others walk the same road, it does take a village.....
Karen, I am glad this blog resonates with you - and you are right, I am serious about this - most of the time..... Re the footer, conventional wisdom recommends such a statement - and I do hope there is entertainment value. Richard and John McCain, not to mention Robin come to mind....
I followed Jon Katz recommendation to your blog and your words have the ring of truth to me Ann. Thanks for putting them out there. I would encourage you to re-look at your signature statement at the end of your blog "are works of the imagination and are for spiritual and entertainment purposes only" as they convey, to me at least, a less serious intent than how I receive your words and how it sounds like you take them as well. I look forward to continuing only your life's journey with you.

I am so happy for you, to live your truth! Something we all grapple with, and again, such a wonderful illustration given and your "talking it out" with Peter and Richard, to show us we can and must be true to our Divine nature too! Thank you!!!
