Ann: Peter, Anita* says you have something for the blog?
Peter: Yes, Ann I do. I want to let each of you know that we progress. We progress while incarnated and thereafter.
Many thought think of me as an illiterate fisherman because this is the image that the religious establishments saw fit to promulgate. A big, dumb block of a man too weak and stupid to follow Jesus blindly and without question, but who, once indoctrinated, would be of use as the camel who would carry the load to promulgate the good news as the establishment boys wanted it told.
Let me set you straight. I was a fisherman, yes. When I met Jesus I was very young, but even then I was a man. I owned my own boat and my own business. I had employees. I had a wife and family. I was a rather slight young man, but strong and wiry. What I am telling you is that I had commitments, that I had family and employees that I could not see my way to leaving behind to fend for themselves. And yet I was called.
When it became clear that I had no other life than to follow this call, I did so. Not lightly, not blindly, not without weighing all that I was risking for myself and others, but in the end because what became clear was that I would be of no use had I refused to answer that call. I would have disintegrated into incoherence and madness which would have put my family and business in greater peril than my absence ever could have. So I left and never got over the wound in my heart from such rupture.
My role in the movement was not as a beast of burden. I was the strategic planner. Because I was literate, curious, and smart, I was best suited to implement the routes we would travel to specified designations. I was in charge of finding shelter and sustenance, and locating those who most needed to hear and could receive our message.
I grew in stature and understanding during these many years. I was elevated at my passing and had a remarkably easy transition in spite of the horror of my crucifixion.
I continue to grow and develop where I am now. I am interested in technology and strategic planning just as I always was and have kept up with the mechanisms of the day - and indeed have access to those beyond the reach of current society.
I tell you this so that you will think twice about the myths promulgated about biblical or historical characters, so that you will allow your own perceptions to overrule what you have been told if the latter does not ring true, and so that, should you need some organizational or strategic help, you will call on me, for I love to give assistance in those areas. I also have interests in engineering, building, and electronic design so please keep me in mind for those endeavours also.
We are going through a great transition, both collectively and individually, and I am on hand to witness, guard, and support any of you who want my assistance. Call on me, I will answer.
