Ann: OK, Richard, I gotta say, along with some of the commenters, that the answer you gave to Lena’s question seems kinda like a dodge. I get that we have free will and all that, but some folks seem to be more prescient than others. And I would sure like to think that someone up there has their hand on the tiller.
Richard Burton: Ah, love, you do want it all wrapped up nicely with a bow, do you not? And yet life is messy. Free will “and all that” plays and has played a substantial role in where we are, where we are going, and where we have been.
It could not be otherwise or there would be no grand experiment, i.e., the cut away from God’s creation to make our own and then, if the experiment succeeds, our voluntary return.
We are learning, love, we are learning, and there are no straight lines to which we can hitch our stars, only the abiding commitment to kindness and truth. In these two qualities rest the spiritual insights that allow some predictions to have weight.
It is only when we use these two lenses to examine the sources of fear and arrogance that set themselves against God’s plan that an arc of likely action can be discerned. That arc can then be accelerated or re-directed by our own perceptions and the actions we take to bear them out.
So, for example, I can’t tell you if your loved one will be with you for years to come or how the next election will turn out, but I and others like or through those like me can tell you the likely direction given current conditions and heart inclinations.

Thank you Ann and Richard! I guess all we can do, and this is a lot, and the hardest lesson I've had to learn and relearn, is Trust in the Divine, as the more of us Trust, the energy flows that way! It means we really have the power to influence ;)

Thank you Ann and Richard for coming back and clearing that question up. His answer goes along with what I have come to understand after 4 plus years of trying to glean which path our political way was going but when it comes to many people collectively making decisions it really can't be accurately foretold. I really and truly like and respect the abilities of the YT readers/psychics/mediums I've watched and helped calm my very frayed nerves over the last few years but truth be told they have gotten most of their political/global predictions wrong and now I know why. But this also brings some anxiety back for our future and understanding that what's coming can't be seen or know…
