Thor: Deep Space
Updated: Mar 2, 2021

Ann: Mr. Thor? Anita* said you have something for the blog.
Mr. Thor: Thor, just Thor, we are friends, you know, you, me, and all of your readers.
I feel so welcome here. I came by to share a new poem. It is about my experiences out in the galaxies. I thought perhaps you and you readers might be interested as it is hard for you to see that far and that far back from where you live now.
Ann: Please. We would be honored.
Deep Space
It is not a starry night
Like the ones you may have seen.
There is no flaming sun
Carried across a changing sky by a racing chariot,
It is dark.
So dark that there is no light - even at the corners.
And it’s cold.
Really cold.
Now I like cold.
We were born there, you and I.
It is in the seed from in the coldest part of the many dimensions
That the life that is your life now,
And mine too, was buried.
When I return there, it is a homecoming of sorts.
There I can remember the nothingness before the spark.
Some say it was a big bang.
But that bang started with a tiny spark
Which melted an enormous ball of ice
Holding a tiny, tiny seed
Protected and safe within its frozen core,
Waiting. Just waiting.
Sometimes a very large being
Likes to remember being a part of something small,
So tiny that it defies the imagination
That nevertheless remembers.
Then I know
What I protect for others.
